Our Social-Emotional Testing Process
At Elevated Insights Assessment, our approach to social-emotional testing is comprehensive and individualized. We take the time to understand each person’s unique experiences and challenges to create a personalized evaluation plan.
The process begins with an in-depth discussion of developmental, medical, and academic history. This involves gathering information from parents using a structured interview to understand ongoing concerns, goals for the assessment, and inform the testing battery.
We conduct a series of standardized tests to assess social-emotional development. These evaluations may include structured interviews, questionnaires, direct measures, and observation to identify emotional and behavioral patterns.
We use standardized questionnaires to gather detailed information from multiple perspectives — including parents, teachers, and, in some cases, the individual being assessed.
When relevant, we will conduct additional collateral interview(s) with educators or other professionals involved in their care.
We meet with the individual or family to explain the results in a clear and supportive manner, ensuring everyone understands the findings and next steps.
After the evaluation, we provide a detailed report that outlines the individual’s strengths and areas of concern. Our recommendations may include therapeutic interventions, behavioral strategies, school accommodations, or referrals for additional support services.
